Associate Managing Editor-Contract Role

We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented Associate Managing Editor (Contract) to join our Adult Publishing Operations team. In this six-month role, you’ll help manage title schedules, maintain data accuracy in Smartsheet, and support reporting tools that keep our publishing workflow running smoothly.
This is a remote contract position (6 months) with a pay rate of $35/hour and a maximum of 40 hours per week.
What you’ll do:
• Input and update scheduling data for active titles in Smartsheet.
• Support secondary schedule setup and adjustments for reflows or delivery changes.
• Maintain dashboards and assist with reporting tasks.
• Collaborate with Managing Editors to ensure up-to-date and accurate timelines.
• Contribute to system upkeep and continuous process improvement.
What you bring:
• Prior experience in publishing operations, production, or managing editorial preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Comfortable with project management tools like Smartsheet or Excel.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Enthusiasm for supporting process and system improvements.
